Welcome to Latitude 30°N

30°N is the latitude I was born on, the parallel I live along today, and the age I’m turning this year. The coincidence felt like a good place to start writing from.

I’m Nooc—a maker by day (I build software and side projects on the internet), a reader by night (mostly literary fiction—Calvino, Kundera, Dostoevsky, and whatever a friend has just pressed into my hands). This space is for the things that fall between those two modes: notes on books, observations from everyday life, and the occasional attempt to make sense of turning thirty.
